Session availability? 

Jennifer is available for sessions Monday thru Fridays, and on occasional Saturday's by arrangement. She currently has sessions available within 7 days. 

Please feel free to email me any further questions you may have, or to book a free 20 minute Discovery call. 

Therapy techniques? 

Jennifer draws on Internal Family Systems, Narrative Therapy, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Person Centred counselling,  Breath therapy, Meditation therapy and Somatic psychotherapy.

Session duration? 

Each therapy session typically lasts 60 minutes. However, the duration may be longer depending on the type of therapy and your individual needs. Jen will discuss this with you during your initial consultation.

Affordability? 

Jennifer understands that therapy can be expensive. For that reason she offers a sliding scale fee structure based on your income and financial situation. Jennifer's goal is to make therapy accessible to everyone who needs it.

What happens if it rains?

If you have booked a walk & talk session with Jen, she will contact you on the morning of any day when weather predictions or signs are inclement, and offer either a walk in the rain (some people choose this if the rain is not too heavy!) or an indoor session in her counselling space in North Ballina, or an online session (where you can participate from your computer or phone from your own home).

How many sessions 

will I need?

Some people come to counselling with a simple issue, and only one counselling session is required. Others may enter have any number of sessions. You are welcome to contact Jen for a Discovery call, to describe your needs and she will be able to give you an estimate. The average length of counselling in Australia is 4 sessions.
